Good Morning Connected, Content in Christ, Co-Laborers! Amen! Are you content and praising God for what He's provided? (Hint: That's everything you have!) Maybe you aren't content because you aren't very connected. Maybe you need some co-laborers to hold your feet to the fire, or, help you to realize all the blessings you have, or, to encourage you. We are one in the Spirit and one in the Lord and all we have is a gift from Him! He promises to provide all we need so if you are lacking something ask, or maybe you don't really need it? The more connected we are (pray without ceasing each day and abide in the Vine) the more content and healthy we will be. And the more ready and informed we will be about being about our Father's business and co-laboring for the Kingdom. Pray about that and process with some friends. And choose joy that flows from deep trust!
Just a couple of devo notes . I had an early huddle with Adam Roberts as we work on learning from a church planting friend of mine. Adam is planting a church in His home. Wish I could share all God revealed to us ! It would be a book and we only did one paragraph ! Before that huddle during my quiet time I began with my prayer calendar and this reminder...
God is working all things together, including, our provision, protection, situations and gifts for what??? His purposes! he is God and we are not. We love Him! But, do we trust Him? Are we moving when He says go and resting in Him when He says whoa? Sarah Young continues the train of thought with her Jesus Calling devo for . Walk in trust because God is with you and leading you to His best. Amen! And that leads to The Word for You 's reminder that we will never be enough and that's OK. In Christ we are more than enough because He is more than enough. I struggle with self-imposed high standards and expectations for myself and us. BUT GOD! He often has much different standards and expectations. What it all boils down to is be you. God made you, knows you and has plans for you just as you are and according to where you are in this life long journey to Christlikeness. Prov 3:5-6 came up . Yes stop leaning on your own understanding. Trust God and acknowledge Him in all you do and he will direct your steps to His best for you and others. Amen! Be you and live and love like Jesus just as you are is your assignment for and for all of this life. That Jesus' easy yoke and God has a yoke custom fitted for you. Put it on and His armor and follow Jesus . I'm praying for you!
