Thank God I'm Forgiven! How often have you thought or said that or turned that to praise to God? What a blessing yo know we are and can always be forgiven! What a joy that we have been given the Holy Spirit to help us repent and walk in His ways. And we have been given the gifts and help to share this Good News with others! PTL! (Have you?) As we approach the Good  cross and the empty tomb ahead, what comes to mind when you remember you are forgiven and the cost of that? Be still at His loving feet AND WORSHIP ! WHAT LOVE! TGIF!

--------

Don't forget brunch on  after our Palm  worship and our Easter communion service the week after! Who ya bringin? Pray for someone to invite and bring along. Pray for Sarah and Mike as they lead and preach and thank God for them! Pray for me and wisdom as we have made a little progress in Florida and have some more to go and some meetings to have yet. Thanks!

Good Morning Children of the King of the Universe! We are His very loved, redeemed heirs and blessed with many blessings, Streams of Living Water overflow us and water this parched and weary land. We are saved and made new, refreshed to refresh. Let us dwell in His love, bathe in the Living Water and go refresh this land one soul at a time! He has great plans for you . Begin with worship and fill up your cisterns with some of His refreshing, Living water and then go water, fertilize, plant and prepare the harvest. I'm praying for you! Plow the soil with prayer and water and fertilize and even harvest with your loving actions. Amen!

A lot has been rattling around in my head this week--well all the time. God has been speaking, comforting, directing and using and growing me. He has answered many prayers and will answer countless more. I've had some great quiet times this week and he is here, there and everywhere we go. Do you see Him at work? Are you joining Him? Are you spending time with Him with an open heart and mind? I need Him always! We all do! And the beginning of our day and the coming of His will to and through us begins with abiding in worship and with listening ears and feet ready to move. Thank God He allows us in His presence and that He wants to transform and help us fulfill our purposes. Amen!

He really spoke to me and what is now and what may be next as I stilled myself in His Love and immersed myself in His Living Water. Our devotionals thread through all this . Check them out below and thank God for using them to speak and direct us. As Our Daily Bread reminds us, He is in ALL the details! PTL! Are you watching to join Him and open and ready to do so? The Upper Room is really comforting and a truth we need to embrace always. he gathers us under His wings and always protects and allows us to rest in Him and to know the joy of being loved. And the The Word for You  speaks to His Living Water and our mission to go water and refresh and invite in. What's He saying to you? What will you do about it? I have already prayed for Him to lead and shepherd and use me, you and us and for His Kingdom to come and will to be done and for revival to come to this dry and weary land through us with His ever-present help. Go! Live and love like Jesus , just as you are and thank Him for using you! Amen! And shalom shalom!

God in the Details

During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet. Deuteronomy 29:5

My niece, a college freshman, was busy with schoolwork and adjusting to a new residence. Because of recent security issues, her school required a vehicle pass. Since applying for this would be one more task on her long to-do list, I offered to do it. “Thanks!” she later said, surprised it had taken me only minutes in the campus office.

What she didn’t know was that the otherwise simple task had taken half a day of coordinating with the office, fixing a glitch in her application, and gathering unexpected documents. But I didn’t tell her this. “Anytime!” I said.

Love is in the details. Here, it was in taking care of details my niece was unaware of. Scripture tells us of God’s love as seen in two seemingly small details of the Israelites’ life in the wilderness: their clothes and shoes. Throughout forty years of walking, their “clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on [their] feet” (Deuteronomy 29:5). In fact, their feet didn’t even swell! (8:4).

God’s people had been unfaithful, but He showed “great compassion,” not abandoning them (Nehemiah 9:19). “They lacked nothing” (v. 21). God provided the “big” things, such as His presence, the counsel of His Spirit, and food and water (vv. 19-20); and the “smaller” but necessary things, such as clothes and shoes.

God shows His love in ways we may overlook or be unaware of. Such is His love, that He sees every detail of our life.

REFLECT & PRAY

What details in your life show God’s love? How do they help you trust Him?

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your enduring love.

SCRIPTURE INSIGHT

Nehemiah 9:5-37 is a prayer of  and praise to God by the Levites as the people were assembled. They listened to a reading of “the Book of the Law of the Lord their God” and then confessed their sins and worshiped “the Lord their God” (v. 3). When the Levites prayed, “For forty years you sustained [the Israelites] in the wilderness” (v. 21), we might forget that their time in the wilderness refers to God’s discipline of them. Because of Israel’s constant complaining and faithless lack of gratitude, every adult over the age of twenty had to die so the next generation could inhabit the promised land. And yet, God still cared for His wayward people. Now, as His perpetually wayward people were re-entering the promised land from their exile, He still showed His love for them by faithfully caring for their every need. , God still shows His care for us in the details of our lives.

UR: Under His Wings

[God] will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. - Psalm 91:4 (NIV)

About a month ago, one of my chickens went missing. I looked for her, but she was nowhere to be found. I was sad about it because she was friendly and a good egg-layer.

Two weeks later as I was leaving for work, there she was — sitting on the front porch. Reaching down to pet her, I gave her a little scolding for scaring me. Just then, a little yellow head popped up out of her feathers. The tiny creature tilted its head and peeped at me. Then another head popped out. Then another. There were five chicks all tucked up warm and safe under the generous cover of the hen’s feathers. I gathered them up and took them to a safe spot and fed them. Over the next few days, I loved watching the attentive and patient mother hen tend to her tiny chicks. When it was time to rest, she would sit down and open her wings for the chicks to rest under.

Every time I watched the hen invite her babies to shelter in her feathers, I was reminded of Psalm 91. We can find peace and rest in the refuge that God offers us. Sometimes we forget that no matter what fear or weariness weighs us down, God is waiting for us to accept the invitation to come and find refuge and peace under his wings.
