Good Morning Learning to Pray Friends! Amen! Teach us Lord! Thanks! Like any spiritual discipline, praying and learning to pray takes practice and intentionality. No two people are made the same and so all pray differently as well. Some are gifted by the spirit as intercessors, or warriors, or different functions in prayer. Even if not gifted we are all commanded to pray without ceasing. It takes practice to learn to pray. How's that going for you?  we discussed 8 different ways to pray from the book Spiritual Missionality.  we will discuss intercession an d actually practice interceding. Intercession is basically praying for another or a situation, church, nation, workplace, family, etc. If you have the book check out day 9 on intercessory prayer. And try practicing it or any of the other prayer disciplines that work well for you. We are being challenged and stretched as we learn to pray and with that comes many blessings and benefits as we release God's power on earth and in the heavenlies.

was another great . of ministry, intercession, and service.  we practiced Acts 2:42 ministry. Part of that is praying. It takes practice to grow at the discipline of prayer. Don't sell yourself short. We all struggle and we all pray differently. And don't be like the guy that approached me after requesting not to ask him to pray. I am asking all who are there to pray out loud. There are no bad prayers or prayers. But you have to practice to grow comfortable praying with, for and before others. God just wants your surrendered heart, being still, conversing with Him and asking for what you need or desire. Seek first His Kingdom. Keep knocking and practicing and growing as a pray-er. All of importance in the Kingdom has been birthed, empowered and grown through prayer. We need to be a people of prayer! Will you join us and God? He's waiting to supply your hearts desires. Just ask!

Shalom shalom...may you know the perfect peace of abiding in Christ and sharing your heart with Him. He's waiting!
