( we collect for Everlasting Life Ministries) Bring someone to worship with us and remind them that we are a come as you are fellowship of believers! PTL for who He's sending and for receiving us as we are! Amen!
Good Morning Forgiven, Redeemed and Made New Followers of Jesus! he is our Lord and Savior, King of the Universe, Creator, Helper, Friend! yes PTL! I could just stop there because there is tons to meditate and praise through. Amen! Thanks Jesus! Can you praise in the storms and hard times? It's easier, when we remember to praise to praise in the easy times. But is your heart prepared to remain focused and worshipful no matter what your day will involve. Sometimes it's hard to remember that God allows whatever we face and filters what He knows we need to get us where He wants us. PTL! Sometimes, because we live in a fallen world, we experience terrible diagnoses or face heavy trials. PTL! Can you refocus and remember like Job..."The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Praise to the Lord!" We are on a journey to heaven and it's a rocky road with many hills and valleys. BUT GOD! The constant should be persevering faith that stays focused or is able to quickly refocus to God and to stay standing firm in faith and on our Rock Jesus. God is preparing us to persevere through some terrible and increasingly hard times as the end approaches. Are you ready to worship through it? It's called practicing faith because, like the Olympic athlete we need to keep practicing no matter what the day brings, to continue to grow in faith and be ready to persevere in worship and faith always. is a great day to practice worship and praise as we remember that cross and our hope. Yes, PTL!
And we can know joy always. Joy that springs from our hope and faith. God has this and is in this and is with me always. PTL! Check out the Upper Room talking about joy and persevering faith. Practice your faith with much joy, praise, and worship. God is for us and with us and we have eternal hope and can grow in faith and joy. Practice as you grow your gratitude lists and praise. And remember we are here to bring others into our joy and lead them to Jesus and their own hope. Who would want to join a grumpy, complaining, faithless person. We are called to be filled with joy and faith and to persevere always and to go make disciples. What is your heart like ? Is it focused in faith on Jesus and overflowing with joy? That is attractive to a world stuck in darkness and hopelessness. And even if no one wants to join you, you can have a great day and rest of the year as you praise and worship and practice persevering faith. DO IT! I'm praying for you and us right now! Come Lord Jesus! We love, trust and worship you no matter what. You are our rock and help in times of trouble. PTL!
Who needs to experience our hope and joy? Maybe share this and your faith with them ! Shalom. May God's peace be with and lead you. Amen!
Jesus said, “I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” - John 15:11 (NRSVUE)
Life’s challenges can be overwhelming, but Jesus’ joy is always available to us and does not depend on our circumstances. In John 15:11 Jesus said, “I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” This joy is a gift from Jesus, residing within us. As we navigate life’s ups and downs, it’s essential to remember that Jesus’ joy is not something we must manufacture or find in external sources. It’s a gift that’s already within us, just waiting for us to tap into it.
Whatever we struggle with — whether it’s anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities, or facing a difficult decision — Jesus’ joy is available to us. What would it look like to live with Jesus’ joy in the midst of challenging circumstances? How will we cultivate this joy in daily life? What practical steps can we take to experience Jesus’ joy more deeply? Even amid difficult circumstances, when we tap into Jesus’ joy we can find peace.
's Prayer
Dear God, thank you for the gift of Jesus’ joy that is always available to us. We pray as Jesus taught us, “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matt. 6:9-13, KJV).
